The youth group is the place in our church for students in 7th-12th grade to grow as disciples of Christ.  We know that these years are critical years for many aspects of life, not least of which is spiritual formation. 

The goal of the youth group is to bring the students, many of whom may have grown up in Christian families, to the point where they can claim faith in Jesus Christ as their own:

We no longer believe just because of what you said; now we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this man really is the Savior of the world.

The group meets in a couple different venues.  On Sunday mornings, we gather during the main service for Encounter, a time to learn and explore God's word and how it relates to our lives. 

We also meet at different times during the week to do service in New Haven, spend time in worship, and just hang out.  Call Darryl Santaus at 203.799.6036to find out what's coming.
